Animated Classics by MumboJumbo Animated Classics by MumboJumbo
Here is my contribution to the Auction called Art Block for Ghana: [link]

The theme was 'HOME'.

Back when I was a kid, I'd get dropped off at nanny's house very early in the morning (like 5am), one of the greatest things I remember when waking up was watching animated classics like Snow White, Cinderella, Pinochio, Dumbo, and Jungle Book to name a few. My fav was Jungle book. To me, these animated classics are like home!

What's your favorite animated classic?

Hope all is well and keep on creating!

Medium: Magic Sculpt, sculpting in that stuff was difficult! Letters were sculpted in Magic sculpt as well.

bronze fx: rub & buff, dry brush on

You've really captured both the characters well, really like how this has been put together especially as it's idea for hanging on a wall.

Love it! I'm doing a presentation about myself for university and I had the same up bringing you mentioned - watching Disney films all the time. And they are what got me into art. I think without them some of us wouldn't be so inspired as we are to draw or create.

My favourite is between Beauty & the Beast and The Lion King.

I loved the lion king but Beauty and the beast was my favorite, and yes the Disney classic's were home... which is why i wanna become a animator and help create "homes" for the next generation. but yes when i was watching these movies nothing else in the world mattered i was happy and safe.

That's beautiful, a really classic scene, and the golden patina kind of enshrines it as a beloved memory. The Jungle Book is one of my top favourite Disneys too, although my very favourite is a toss-up between Pinocchio and Dumbo. But you can't beat the music in The Jungle Book.

That is very nicely done.

My favorite animated classic? A tie between Disney's Bambi, The Small One, and Fleischer's Hoppity Goes to Town.

I love the little mermaid. The sea has always enchanted me, and whats better than a woman borne forth from the frothing waves?!

This is beautiful! Great choice of a scene to sculpt too, it's instantly recognizable.

Hm, well my favorite animated movie growing up was "Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer." Not exactly a Disney classic... My favorite Disney classic was probably... hm... "The Rescuers."
