Wootie Sculpture by MumboJumbo Wootie Sculpture by MumboJumbo
This is a sculpture I did a while back for my most favorite artist/friend Dice Tsutsumi. You should DEFINITELY check out his work at: [link] If you click to some of his older works you will find a beautiful painting he did of Wootie as well.

If you remember his work its because this is the second time I had the privilege working with him. The first sculpture was with the horse and jockey in my featured deviation!

About the sculpture:

The name is "Wootie" and is the symbolic character for their first comic called Out of Picture. You can find more information about this prestigious artist collaboration at: [link] If you clicked on the link, you will see on the right (above the word "buy") the character I worked from. :) This character seems so simple right? Well in fact it was pretty hard to sculpt! Simple isn't always true :P

More to come!

All of your work is amazing and so is this one! I love the simplicity of it and the '..oh..hu?' phrase it gives off..the texture is amazing too! I have to say that Wootie has melted my heart and now I want to take him home with me....but I can't do that.

Hm, this looks like copperish... What did you use to make this? Just clay+paint? That looks great :)

Yes, this was painted with a type of paint called Rub'n Buff..you dry brush on the surface. The material is super sculpey clay and paint. Thanks kindly for your comment!

Hohoo, what a way to fool the idea. I didn't even think of that, but then after you told me I was like "well damnit, why didn't I think of that before?"

Nyar. Yes, good stuff :)
