Talk about a surprise!!!! I can't say enough about Deviantart, I think it's the best thing on earth! Really flattered to wake up on my BIRTHDAY and find a daily deviation! I really love the support and the inspirational spirit that is found here. Unfortunately, with my work and personal life, I just couldn't keep up with Deviantart (updating and such) but I did pop on occasion to see what my peeps were up to

I will start this new year off right! I'm gonna focus on updating and sharing my art with you wonderful people again! I certainly haven't forgot about this place!! Sculpting is certainly were it all began for me, and working at a job that is nothing but satisfying is all I can ask for!!!!!! I'm so appreciative of life and what it gives. Thank you so much for liking my work enough to give me Daily Deviation, and it couldn't have come on a better day!

Some news on my end (part of the reason why I've been absent from here)is that I got engaged recently!

Yes, to a wonderful, talented amazing guy that (well come to think of it) I MET HERE ON DEVIANTART in 2005!!! That's right, this place isn't only for inspiration, you met so many people...someone who may change your life forever!

So I have to say, THANK YOU WITH THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!!!!!!!!! If it wasn't for this place, I wouldn't have the best job in the world nor the perfect man for my life!


MORE TO COME! I wish the best to each and everyone of you on your journey with your art! This place means so much to me! Keep on producing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Totoro Forest Project is online!!!!!!!!!!!!!


So you recall the sculpture of the Alien guy I sculpted..the one trying to grow the plant? I told you it was for a charity auction, but I didn't give much detail about it. Well....The time is now!!! Here's your look inside this wonderful project that Dice Tsutsumi and a few others organized to preserve the Sayama Forest in Japan!!! (also known as Totoro Forest where director Hayao Miyazaki got the inspiration for his character “Totoro.”

Here's what the auction entails:

"Over 200 top international artists from animation, illustration, and comics are donating artwork especially created for this cause.
On September 6th 2008 Pixar Animation Studios will be hosting an art auction event featuring all these fantastic pieces of art. All the proceeds of this fundraiser will benefit the Totoro Forest Foundation.
On top of the auction we are producing a wonderful art book of the auction pieces and ... an exhibition at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco."

The Beginning!

So I'm learning Zbrush now..and I'd like to share with you my first head I sculpted in z brush (granted, not very good...and pretty rough for working on it for 30 mins) I will most likely change the category to my scraps...so if you want to follow the beginning of my journey with Zbrush, look there!

Practice enhances the skills I'm definitely practicing! Great stuff to be had!

For those who don't know what zbrush is, it was initially designed as a painters program, that turned 3d. Basically it combines the 2d realm with the 3d realm like 2 1/2 D
